About the role
We are seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for flexible, per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Follow infection-control and safety standards
- Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans
- Adapt to various hospital units and environments
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN License
- Minimum 2 years recent PCU experience within past 4 years
- Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
- QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within 12 months
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Additional credentials may be required based on facility
