About The Role
Galileo seeks culturally sensitive clinicians to join its digital-first, primary care medical group. Clinicians will use asynchronous text-based chat and synchronous video to provide high-quality, comprehensive and evidence-based primary care. They will work collaboratively with a clinical care team to optimize patient outcomes while offering personalized care and shared decision making.
Here’s What You’ll Do
- Provide best-in-class care for Galileo patients managing complex and chronic illnesses through our proprietary app and technology.
- Offer compassionate and empathetic care to patients from age 0-100, including those with complex, chronic medical conditions like diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and mental health.
- Work with a diverse patient population and foster an inclusive culture.
- Solve patient problems efficiently by leveraging resourcefulness, collaborating with team members, and adopting a “can-do” attitude.
How We Work
Galileo operates 24/7, providing high-quality, comprehensive primary care through asynchronous text-based chat and synchronous video. Clinicians are scheduled to work in shifts, up to 4 hours each, ranging from mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight on weekdays and weekends. This role is for a per diem Nurse Practitioner who can work evening and weekend shifts, up to 8 hours per month. A Texas state license is required, with the ability to obtain additional state licenses.
Compensation
- $78/hour (regular rate)
- $90/hour (premium rate)
About You
We seek passionate clinicians with 5+ years of advanced clinical experience in complex care, chronic care management, or primary care. Experience with or interest in digital-first healthcare and innovative care models is preferred. Comfort with using technology and various applications to deliver care virtually is essential. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner and active state licensure in TX, with the ability to obtain additional state licenses, are required. Fluency in medical Spanish is a bonus.
