About the role

Work as part of a statewide oncology care program—the MaineHealth Cancer Care Network (MHCCN) is an integrated cancer care delivery network across the Southern, Coastal and Mountain regions of Maine and eastern New Hampshire. Designed to provide care as close to home as possible, the network is comprised of 11 hospital partners and provides comprehensive cancer care to more than 7,400 cancer patients annually.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive oncology care to patients in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in clinical research studies and contribute to the advancement of oncology care.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an accredited Physician Associate or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program, with a Master’s Degree level of education.
  • Current Board Certification as a PA/ACNP.
  • Active State of Maine PA/NP license or eligibility.
  • Oncology experience preferred.
