Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant [NP or PA]

About the role

AFC Urgent Care is a fast-paced medical facility in a retail environment. You will provide high-quality medical care to all patients and assist in directing staff in the support of patient care in an outpatient clinic setting. The role emphasizes positive patient relations and thrives in a fast-paced setting. All safety measures are in place to ensure team members remain safe while serving a large patient base.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care to patients in an outpatient urgent care setting
• Direct and support clinical staff in patient care activities
• Maintain positive patient relations

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Experience with common urgent care procedures
• Active and current Massachusetts NP or PA license
• Active and current DEA number and state controlled substance certificate, as needed
• Excellent communication skills with staff, patients, and families
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to multi-task and work independently

Schedule

• Standard day shift
• Monday to Friday with weekend availability
• Weekend shifts required
• Full-time and part-time positions available

Pay

$65 – $95 per hour

• Primarily standing and frequent walking
• Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
