Per Diem Nurse - Option 1B - Oncology - Chemotherapy Clinic

About the role

Work Schedule: Per diem Registered Nurses must work a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours per six (6) week scheduling period in direct patient care. As applicable to operations, one shift should be an evening, night, weekend or holiday shift.

Responsibilities

• Connect and form therapeutic relationships with oncology patients
• Provide education and support to patients receiving chemotherapy
• Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients during their treatment
• Participate in ongoing oncology educational and growth opportunities

Requirements

• Graduate of school of nursing
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Required: 6 months of RN experience
• Preferred: Relevant Inpatient RN experience, Ambulatory experience, Relevant oncology experience, Chemotherapy experience, Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills
• Required: Current CPR/BLS certification
• Preferred: Certification in specialty area of practice

• Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact
