About the Role

The Nurse Education Manager oversees clinical and educational activities, including staff orientation, development, and competency assessments.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates nursing education programs and policies.
• Prepares budgets, manages expenditures, and reviews educational recordkeeping systems.
• Conducts research related to nursing and developing educational needs.
• Develops learning materials and encourages staff participation.
• Selects instructional strategies and evaluates program effectiveness.
• Coordinates orientation and educational updates for staff, utilizing assessment systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or Allied Health with experience in Nursing Education or Leadership.
• Current New York State Nursing License; BLS instructor and ACLS preferred.
• Professional certification in clinical specialty or staff development recommended.
