About the role

The Department of Radiology and Radiological Science at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neuroradiologist for a per diem (as-needed) faculty appointment as a Clinical Associate within the academic Neuroradiology Division. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered academic practice while maintaining a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Interpretation of neuroradiology examinations, including brain, spine, and head and neck imaging
  • Participation in clinical coverage as scheduled
  • Optional opportunities for teaching and academic engagement based on interest and availability
  • Contribution to the department’s mission of providing outstanding patient care

Schedule

Flexible per diem scheduling options are available and can be tailored to the candidate’s availability. The primary need for this position is weekend neuroradiology coverage across the Johns Hopkins Health System, making it particularly well suited for individuals seeking a predominantly weekend-based practice arrangement. Additional coverage opportunities may be available based on departmental needs and candidate interest.

Pay

Per diem compensation commensurate with an annualized range of $441,000–$535,000, prorated based on days worked.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
  • Fellowship training in Neuroradiology
  • Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Maryland and Washington, D.C.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care and collaborative practice
