Opportunity: Per-Diem MRI Technologist at MSK Commack, supporting Radiology team at Basking Ridge, NJ location. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Regional Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of Magnetic Resonance (M.R.) imaging procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity within an outpatient center.
• Under administrative direction of the Manager and clinical guidance of the Radiologist, perform MRI procedures applying technical ability independently.
• Perform all examinations accurately, completely and efficiently, checking technical quality, and submit completed exams for physician review.
• Lead all aspects of exam procedures to improve exam efficiency while meeting patient needs.
• Prepare accurate records and enter required data into information management system.
• Maintain a neat, clean, safe environment, and perform quality control tests as assigned.
• Treat patients/family, clients, center employees as unique individuals in a respectful, courteous manner, focusing on understanding and meeting their needs.
• Work collaboratively with others to accomplish departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Degree from a 2‑year AMA‑approved Radiology school or a 1‑year MRI technologist program.
• New Jersey State license in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration (MRI) (R), and MRI certification (MR).

Pay

Per‑diem rate: $80 per hour.
