Position Details Specialty: Medical-SurgicalLocation: Bowling Green, KYPay Rate: $50 per hourEmployment Type: Per DiemShift Length: 12 hoursShifts Available: Days and nightsMinimum Commitment: 4 shifts per monthFloating: May float to approved Med-Surg units based on competency and facility needs Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients with acute and complex medical needs.Care for post-operative, vascular, respiratory, renal, and general medical-surgical patients. Required Qualifications Active RN license eligible for practice in Kentucky.Minimum of 2 years of recent acute-care Medical-Surgical experience.Current BLS certification.Demonstrated ability to manage approximately six Med-Surg patients.Experience with IV therapy, peripheral and central-line care, medication administration, and patient assessment.Ability to care for post-operative and complex medical-surgical patients.Meditech documentation experience required, or willingness to complete Meditech training during onboarding.Flexibility to float within approved Med-Surg assignments based on competency and operational needs.
