About the Role
The Department: Our Island Home, Town of Nantucket
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing direct patient care to residents in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Requirements: Currently licensed in Massachusetts and in good physical and mental health.
- Completion of an accredited nurse licensure program; or if licensed by waiver, must comply with regulations of the MA Department of Public Health.
- Prior work experience in a long-term care healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing no less than 50 pounds; more intensive physical effort may be required to assist residents.
- Fluent in English.
- Work is performed in a nursing home environment.
