Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – $38–$40/Hour

About the role

Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions is hiring an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a per diem LPN position in Mahopac, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN seeking flexible scheduling, competitive hourly pay, and the potential for ongoing assignments in a long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing environment. Evening shift coverage is a priority.

Schedule

• All shifts available, with evening shift priority
• Must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week
• Must be available to work at least 1 weekend per month
• Flexible per diem LPN schedule
• Potential for ongoing assignments

Requirements

• Active New York State LPN license in good standing required
• Minimum 1 year of LPN nursing experience required
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, nursing home, or geriatric nursing required
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-care skills
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents and patients
• Work collaboratively with CNAs, RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor patient conditions
• Document care
• Communicate changes in condition
• Support individualized care plans

Pay

$38–$40/hour, depending on experience
