Position Overview

A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU or Telemetry is sought for per diem hospital assignments in Halifax, VA. The role offers flexible scheduling with day and night shifts, allowing nurses to select shifts that fit their lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality acute-care nursing by assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and equipment
• Collaborate with healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate records
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards
• Educate patients and families

Qualifications & Skills

• Active Virginia RN license
• At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Additional credentials may be required based on specific assignments
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
• COVID-19 vaccination or exemption
