Per Diem Hospice Nurse

About the role

The RN Nurse Clinician provides holistic, patient‑centered care to terminally ill pediatric and adult patients and their families within a hospice setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized Plans of Care.
• Plan, coordinate, implement, and revise the Plan of Care as conditions change.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Anticipate changes in patient status and intervene to improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Current Washington RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Experience in pediatric, hospice, homecare, long‑term care, medical/surgical, or oncology settings is desirable.

• Teamwork and collaboration.
• Adaptability to variable caseloads and shifting priorities.

Schedule

On‑site, per diem/on‑call position with variable shifts and caseloads.
