Primary Responsibilities

  • Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
  • Provides information to customers about medications and their use
  • Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
  • Safeguards compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
  • Administers immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
  • Performs any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Current pharmacist license in state of Tennessee
  • Certified immunizer or willing to obtain certification
  • Current BLS/CPR certification or willing to obtain certification
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharmacist experience

Pay

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

Hourly Pay Range

The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment.

About the Role

We are seeking a Per Diem Float Pharmacist to support Genoa Healthcare pharmacy locations in the Chattanooga, TN area and surrounding communities. This role involves ensuring individuals receiving behavioral health and specialty care have consistent, reliable access to their medications.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Current pharmacist license in state of Tennessee
  • Certified immunizer or willing to obtain certification
  • Current BLS/CPR certification or willing to obtain certification
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
