Per Diem Elections Process Aide

This is a continuous recruitment and may close at any time without notice. Per Diem Elections Process Aides are temporarily employed specifically during election periods to assist with increased workload.

About the role

This classification is a per diem role. Incumbents are paid an hourly rate for actual hours worked, are not entitled to benefits, do not obtain permanent status, and serve at the will of the department head. Permanent county employees are not eligible for this per diem employment.

Applicants must be willing to work any shift within a 24-hour period, any day of the week (including holidays), and in any outlying county area as assigned.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Registered voter or eligible to register to vote
• Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience to perform the duties of the job
