About the role

Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is seeking a Per Diem ECT Nurse to join their dynamic team. The role involves working from 7am to 3pm, as needed, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate comprehensive care for patients undergoing Electro-Convulsive Therapy (ECT).
• Support pre-operative, procedural, and recovery efforts for those receiving ECT treatment.

Requirements

• Education: A graduate from an accredited nursing program is essential; a Bachelor's Degree is highly desirable.
• Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting.
• Licensure: Current license to practice in the State of Texas.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Prior experience in ICU/PACU is a plus.
