Position Summary

Under general direction performs a variety of CT procedures at a skilled technical level requiring the ability to apply ionizing radiation for diagnosis. Performs related work as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Current CA State Radiology Certification;
  • Current CA State Fluoroscopy Certification;
  • Registered as Computed Temography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT);
  • Current CPR Certification;
  • Graduate from school of Radiologic Technology.

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications

  • One to two years acute care hospital experience as Rad Tech and CT Tech.
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms

Physical Requirements

  • Transports objects by holding them in hands or arms;
  • Perceives nature of sounds by ears;
  • Expresses ideas by means of spoken word and has visual acuity and depth perception;
  • Moves about by foot;
  • Ability to lift/pull patients.
