Per Diem Clinical Application Pool
About the role
HealthBar is seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to join its clinical team. We offer per diem opportunities in two primary areas: the School Nursing Program (SNP) and the HealthBar Partnership Program (HPP).
Responsibilities
- Provide relationship-based, accessible care in schools or workplaces.
- Monitor students or employees independently and recognize changes in condition.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and employers.
- Work independently while maintaining effective communication and relationships.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license for RNs.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program for NPs.
- BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) within 90 days of hire.
- Background check and fingerprinting required for this role.
Qualifications
- RNs: Experience working with pediatric patients or school-aged children preferred; BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- NPs: Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program; BLS certification within 90 days of hire; active, unrestricted Michigan NP Specialty Certification.
Benefits
HealthBar offers competitive pay rates based on role, program, location, and experience. RNs start at $35/hour, and NPs start at $50/hour. Specific pay rates will be confirmed during the hiring process.
Pay
- Registered Nurse (RN): Starting at $35/hour
- Nurse Practitioner (NP): Starting at $50/hour
Schedule
Per diem opportunities may include coverage for planned absences, short-term staffing needs, or additional clinical support. Opportunities may be available on a daily, weekly, or long-term basis.
Who We’re Looking For
We're interested in connecting with RNs and NPs who meet the following qualifications:
- RNs: Active, unrestricted Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license; experience working with pediatric patients or school-aged children preferred; BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- NPs: Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program; active, unrestricted Michigan RN license; active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner certification; active Michigan NP Specialty Certification; BLS certification within 90 days of hire; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
