This on-call Certified Genetic Counselor (CGC) position works closely alongside a board-certified MFM/genetics physician to provide comprehensive prenatal genetic counseling services. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive prenatal genetic counseling services
- Collaborate with MFM physicians in a team-based care model
- Manage expected patient volume of approximately 7 patients per day
- Handle referrals primarily from internal MFM physicians
Requirements
- Active Washington state license
- Current CGC certification
- Experience and/or training in prenatal genetic counseling
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
Department Details
- MFM Department includes three full-time physicians and two on-call physicians
- Collaborative and supportive clinical environment
- This is a per-diem/as needed position with no guaranteed minimum number of shifts, hours, or compensation
Pay
Compensation is $1,600 per day. Compensation information is provided based on available data at the time of posting and is subject to change.
