Per Diem-Admitting worker PRN-Utilization review-Los Alamitos-Days
Position Summary
The incumbent has the primary function to balance and prepare the daily deposit for over the counter receipts. As a secondary function, the incumbent supports Patient Registration in the capacity of Patient Registration Representative. The incumbent works in a cooperative manner to fulfill the goals of the department and hospital, displaying courtesy with all patients, staff, and visitors.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Able to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
- Patient Registration Experience.
- Knowledge of Health Care Industry/Insurance Contracts.
- Computer Literacy.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
