Per Diem - Activities Aide

About the role

Coordinates and provides activities to both Medical Surgical and SNF on a continuance basis according to individual needs of patients and residents in accordance to philosophy, standards, requirements and policies of Mt. Grant General Hospital/Lefa L. Seran. Assist residents with outings, shopping, errands, and daily companionship. Drives residents to church, grocery stores, or other places as needed.

• Drive residents to church, grocery stores, or other locations as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willing and able to complete online courses to obtain MEPAP Certification
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Possess or able and willing to obtain and maintain current BLS certification with American Heart Association
• Maintain and participate in annual mandatory training
• Must pass required state and federal background checks per NRS 449 and NRS 200

Preferred qualifications

• Long Term Care or Geriatric Experience

Pay

$16.95/hr (non-exempt)
