About the role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a PeopleSoft Technical Consultant based in the United States. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PeopleSoft professional to design, develop, and enhance enterprise PeopleSoft solutions in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft customizations using PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode, pages, records, components, and related development tools.
- Build and support Application Engine programs for batch processing, data conversion, and enterprise data integration workloads.
- Create and optimize SQR, BI Publisher, and nVision reports to support operational and financial reporting requirements.
- Configure and maintain Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) processes, notifications, and workflow automation.
- Partner with functional consultants to perform fit-gap analysis, translate business requirements into technical designs, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Ensure custom developments follow enterprise coding standards and minimize core system modifications to support future upgrades.
- Lead unit testing, support system integration testing and user acceptance testing, and resolve defects throughout implementation and post-production support.
- Optimize SQL queries and application performance while maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot production issues, mentor junior developers, and contribute to technical best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on PeopleSoft technical development experience.
- Strong expertise with PeopleTools, Application Designer, and PeopleCode.
- Solid experience developing Application Engine programs, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker services, and enterprise integrations.
- Hands-on experience with SQR, BI Publisher, and PeopleSoft reporting technologies.
- Strong SQL skills and in-depth understanding of the PeopleSoft data model.
- Experience supporting one or more PeopleSoft modules, including HCM, FSCM, or Campus Solutions.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, Approval Workflow Engine (AWE), and enterprise customization best practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and technical documentation skills.
- PeopleSoft certifications, Oracle Cloud HCM/ERP integration experience, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle database knowledge, or PeopleSoft Fluid UI experience are considered strong advantages.
- Must be eligible to work as a full-time W-2 employee in the United States. H-1B transfer candidates are welcome; new visa sponsorship is not available.
- Willingness to complete a technical coding assessment as part of the hiring process.
