PeopleSoft Financials Business Analyst

About the role

PeopleSoft Financials Business System Analyst (3 - 5 years) – long‑term contract position based in Chicago, IL (remote).

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in GL, AP, AR and Billing functionality within PeopleSoft Financials.
• Work with custom modules and maintain a deep understanding of business processes.
• Apply skills in business process analysis, system design, and system testing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Support functional users in day‑to‑day business operations.
• Assist with compiling and reviewing business cases.
• Support changes and enhancements from development through production, recommending and implementing system enhancements (e.g., screen appearance, report distribution and setup testing).
• Develop new program specifications to meet specific customer needs and support system upgrades, including new releases, and resolve problems with current systems.
• Analyze service requests to determine feasibility, scope of changes, resource requirements, and project time estimates.
• Provide daily production support, including maintenance of routine production control parameters, completion of routine service requests, and research of problems.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of relevant experience.
