Job Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and validate PeopleSoft with Oracle Database 12c/18c/19c on Linux.
  • Install and configure third-party technologies including Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Tuxedo, COBOL, and related middleware.
  • Build and maintain multiple PeopleSoft environments for development, testing, QA, UAT, production, and upgrades.
  • Install and configure PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface and Elasticsearch.
  • Configure Oracle RAC and High Availability (HA) clusters.
  • Restore Oracle databases using RMAN backup and recovery.
  • Administer PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) and PeopleSoft Portal technologies.
  • Perform PeopleTools and PeopleSoft application upgrades, preferably to PeopleSoft 9.2.
  • Create and configure file servers, web servers, application servers, Process Scheduler domains, and PeopleBooks.
  • Configure and support Integration Broker, LDAP, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Provide administration and migration support for non-production PeopleSoft environments.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Security, and other PeopleSoft technologies from a PeopleSoft Administration perspective.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver projects on schedule.
  • Work closely with the Astute U.S. consulting team to ensure project milestones and customer commitments are achieved.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience supporting large enterprise clients in the U.S. and/or U.K.
  • Strong Oracle Database Administration (DBA) knowledge.
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of database administration methodologies, database technologies, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and consulting skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure deployments is a plus.
