Responsibilities

  • Oversee a welcoming, values-based onboarding experience, both in-person and remote across the U.S., that sets new hires up for success.
  • Manage the feedback loop through employee surveys and stay interviews to identify areas for cultural and operational improvement.
  • Oversee the daily operations of our new Austin office (opening September 2026).
  • Own stocking and groceries, physical workplace seating arrangements, and manage vendor relationships for catering, IT, cleaning, and maintenance to enhance the in-office employee experience.
  • Drive initiatives that foster team cohesion, a sense of belonging, and alignment with company values.
  • Design and employee recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and local team-building events as needed.
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments, life-change events, plan comparisons, employee questions, and coordination with brokers.
  • Provide support for performance management cycles, including scheduling, templates, feedback tracking, and documentation.
  • Act as the team's HRIS specialist, maintaining and optimizing systems, ensuring workflows function smoothly, and supporting system setup or cleanup.
  • Draft, edit, and maintain key HR documents, including policies, handbooks, internal playbooks, and scalable templates.
  • Support general People tasks as needed (performance cycles, light employee relations support, leave management, and other recurring HR workflows).

Qualifications

  • Have 2 - 4 years of demonstrated HR and office management experience.
  • Have experience administering benefits, including open enrollment, changes, and vendor/broker coordination.
  • Have HRIS experience (ideally Rippling) and have an innate drive to adapting and learning new technologies.
  • Show flexibility, availability and ability to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Show strong collaboration, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Show excellent verbal and written communication skills.
