People Programs Specialist (Remote/Hybrid role)

About the Role
Our Plymouth, MN office has an exciting opportunity for a People Programs Specialist. In this role, you will coordinate and execute programs that enhance employee connection, recognition, wellbeing, and community across Wealth Enhancement Group. You will be instrumental in delivering employee engagement initiatives and supporting efforts to reinforce WEG’s culture and values. This is a hybrid position, working primarily from home, with on-site requirements at our Plymouth, MN headquarters for special events and projects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute employee engagement programs, including Health & Wellness, Employee Appreciation, Day of Service, Charitable Matching, Employee Resource Groups, and other employee experience initiatives.
- Develop program plans, timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure successful execution.
- Partner with program sponsors, business partners, vendors, volunteers, and local office contacts to deliver consistent, high-quality experiences.
- Monitor program execution, resolve issues, maintain documentation, and recommend process improvements.
- Support Employee Resource Groups and other employee-led communities.
- Recruit, onboard, and support employee volunteers, ambassadors, and program champions.
- Foster collaboration across groups to align activities with organizational priorities and maximize employee engagement.
- Promote engagement programs through effective communication plans and supporting materials.
- Provide program information, timelines, and content to support employee communications and maintain accurate resources across employee platforms.
- Coordinate communications across programs to maximize awareness and participation.
- Track participation, budgets, and other program metrics; prepare regular status reports and post-program summaries.
- Gather employee feedback and recommend improvements that enhance program effectiveness and the employee experience.
- Monitor engagement trends and identify opportunities to improve programs, processes, and participation.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, communications, business, hospitality, event management, or a related field, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience coordinating employee engagement, HR programs, events, communications, or related initiatives.
- Strong project management, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate programs, analyze feedback and participation data, and recommend process improvements while exercising sound judgment and discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Workday, intranet platforms, survey tools, or project management software is a plus.
- AI Literacy: Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI tools and technologies in daily work tasks, including crafting effective prompts, evaluating AI-generated content for accuracy and appropriateness, and integrating AI tools to enhance productivity while maintaining quality standards.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $75,000.00 to $85,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. The full salary grade for this role is $67,300.00 to $97,600.00.
