Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all employee-related issues including, but not limited to: harassment, wage & hour concerns, leaves of absence, injuries, onboarding, terminations, attendance, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct employee investigations, gather witness statements, and make recommendations regarding the next steps.
  • Ensure compliance with various state and federal wage/hour laws, signage, postings, etc.
  • Aid in the implementation of department and company goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage company-wide performance management process, including Performance Improvement Plans and corrective actions.
  • Provide support and coaching to managers on employee-related issues.
  • Work with facility leaders to strategically manage headcount and temporary staffing needs.
  • Aid in creating and implementing HR-focused and company-based policies and procedures.
  • Aid Managers with termination paperwork, exit interviews, and the off-boarding process.
  • Assist with unemployment, wage/hour, and EEOC hearings.
  • Aid in company-wide harassment and employee development training programs.
  • Manage and conduct appropriate audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Create and assist in the evaluation of reports.
  • Assist with keeping organization charts current.
  • Advise employees and management in the interpretation of human resources policies, programs, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform tasks and duties of a strategic nature and scope as required.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university with or 7-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • HR Certification (PHR/SPHR) is highly desired.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $90,000-$100,000.* The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
