People Director

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated People leader to build the People function from the ground up for a global team across the US and Greece. Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the CEO, this role involves building the organization, strategy, systems, and infrastructure for a growing company.

Responsibilities

• Organizational strategy and structure
• Goal-setting and performance systems
• Compensation and total rewards
• Recruiting and interview process design
• Onboarding and training
• HR operations and compliance
• Employee engagement and culture
• Building the People team

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive People leadership experience
• An analytical foundation before People
• Hands-on execution without close supervision
• Deep working knowledge of US employment practice and multi-state compliance
• Experience partnering directly with senior leadership at a venture-backed or growth-stage technology company

Qualifications

• Cross-border experience working across the US and Europe
• Experience supporting international expansion, organizational transformation, or public-company readiness
• Experience selecting, implementing, or migrating HR platforms (HRIS, payroll, EOR)
• Executive-grade output in preparing People materials for board and investor audiences
