Description Summary: Jorgensen Farms is made up of multiple divisions, creating a unique agritourism environment that blends organic farming with special events. The People + Culture Manager will support all divisions in a variety of Human Resources functions, including recruitment, hiring and onboarding, timekeeping, payroll, employee engagement, and staff termination when necessary. Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including job postings, interviewing, selection, new hire orientation, and onboarding.Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding, identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance the overall employee experience.Develop and manage employee recognition and awards programs aligned with Jorgensen’s KPIs and organizational valuesCoordinate team-building activities and employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive, collaborative work environmentManage and improve performance management processes, including 360-degree reviews and other employee feedback systemsAssist with the development of training initiatives and leadership coaching programs as organizational needs evolveServe as a trusted resource and mediator for employees and management, helping address workplace conflicts and employee concerns in a fair, professional, and constructive manner while maintaining appropriate documentation.Manage the Jorgensen Employee Handbook and ensure policies and practices remain current and effectively communicatedMaintain the HRIS system, including employee records, time and attendance, PTO requests, and bi-weekly payroll processingSupport the administration of employee benefits programs, including insurance, PTO and holiday programs, workers’ compensation, and retirement plansSupport the management and maintenance of campus safety and emergency response protocols, including the coordination of related policies, procedures, and employee communications.Administer Jorgensen Farms GSuite, including email, document sharing, and calendar management.Process unemployment claims and state wage audits, and attend Administrative Hearings as requiredManage workers’ compensation matters, including serving as liaison with the MCO for claims submission and processing annual BWC Payroll True-Up reports.Attend and contribute to monthly Manager’s MeetingsWhatever it takes to create a comfortable, welcoming, and supportive environment for all staff and guests Requirements Qualifications: At least 5 years of Human Resources experienceGuest-Centric and Team-Focused Mentality who also takes the initiative to work independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsLeadership and/or Management experiencePayroll Administration experienceAttention to detail and superb organizational skillsBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferredHospitality or Special Events background preferredSHRM or PHR Certification preferredExperience in a small business environment or as a department of one preferredInspire a “Bring the Cows Home” spirit
