About the role

Join our dynamic People Consulting team as a Organization Design Senior, where you will play a pivotal role in optimizing workforce, talent, and mobility strategies. You will lead large-scale organizational design projects and advise stakeholders while building relationships with colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver innovative and insightful solutions for a range of challenges, from how to best structure teams to deliver on the organization’s strategy to how the organization’s structure can allow for more agile ways of working.
  • Support and lead certain engagement activities from planning through to implementation including identifying and helping manage any potential issues and risks during a client assignment.
  • Understand and apply organizational design, strategic workforce planning as integral components of transformational initiatives focused on accelerating business performance.
  • Gain exposure to a large-scale project(s) through a professional services role with a global management consultancy firm or similar role in industry.
  • Work collaboratively to deliver innovative and insightful solutions for a range of challenges, from how to best structure teams to deliver on the organization’s strategy to how the organization’s structure can allow for more agile ways of working.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience through one of the following: Professional services role with a global management consultancy firm or niche consultancy, internal human resources or organizational design role in industry or related line role in industry, in which you gained exposure to a large-scale project(s).
  • Between 4-6 years of prior experience in Operating Model Development, Organizational Structure and Design, Strategic Workforce Planning, Capability Mapping, Organizational Assessment, and Organizational Governance, with success in current job applying one or more of these capabilities.
  • Experience of delivering org. design projects in one or more of the following functional domains – supply chain, IT, finance, customer, sales & marketing.
  • Working knowledge of digital assets in the organization design space and use of analytical tools.

Qualifications

  • A primary degree and relevant post-graduate qualification.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment with an average of three (3) days per week at a client site or within an EY office.

  • You’ll contribute to the growth of the People Consulting practice by identifying additional engagement opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients.
  • You’ll influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for any major change initiatives and/or decisions.
  • You’ll encourage and facilitate collaboration amongst team members, and promote an inclusive working environment.
  • You’ll contribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations for potential clients.
  • You’ll advance the People Consulting practice by supporting in the development of thought leadership and EY methodologies.

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $100,600 to $165,900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $120,800 to $188,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
