Pensions Administration Team Leader

About the role

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Manager to lead a team of pension administrators and senior administrators at a well-regarded, award-winning third-party pensions administrator. You'll take the initiative to keep service quality high, push processes forward, and spot new business opportunities with real commercial instinct. You'll cover all types of occupational pension schemes, with a strong focus on Defined Benefit arrangements. This is a company where you'll have real influence to drive change and deliver a first-class service to clients and scheme members alike.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of pension administrators and senior administrators
• Hit targets and re-prioritize tasks on the fly
• Maintain high service quality and improve processes
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Ensure accuracy in manual calculations and review the work of others
• Stay updated on current pension legislation and upcoming changes

Requirements

Professional Qualities

• Computer literate with experience in the use of MS Office
• Extensive Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) experience
• Ability to complete manual calculations accurately
• Strong team player with the ability to review the work of others for accuracy
• Knowledge and understanding of current pension legislation and an appreciation of upcoming changes
• PMI Qualified (or studying) – desirable
• Experience of managing projects – desirable
• Prior use of the IntelliPen administration system – desirable
• Experience of leading on DB and/or DC scheme(s) – desirable
