Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Operate trucks, loaders, and specialized attachments during maintenance and seasonal tasks
• Traffic Control: Perform flagging duties to guide and protect motorists and coworkers around work zones
• Manual Labor Tasks: Use a wide variety of tools to complete work such as cleaning culverts, cutting brush, repairing structures, and installing signs
• Equipment Care: Conduct field adjustments, minor repairs, and routine servicing to keep equipment safe and functional
• Safety Practices: Follow all safety rules, observe hazards, report concerns, and help maintain a safe work area for all
• Environmental Compliance: Carry out environmental protection requirements and follow training guidelines related to maintenance activities
