Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
- Achieve optimal functional outcomes through evidence-based pelvic health and orthopedic physical therapy interventions.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, ergonomics, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to regulatory and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Supervise and mentor physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation support staff.
- Reassess patient progress regularly and coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care.
- Participate in ongoing clinical education, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Doctorate or postgraduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Active Alaska Physical Therapy License or eligibility for Alaska licensure.
- Experience in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy preferred.
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills.
- Knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation and evidence-based treatment techniques.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care.
