Pelvic Health Physical Therapist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
• Achieve optimal functional outcomes through evidence-based pelvic health and orthopedic physical therapy interventions.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, ergonomics, and wellness strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation support staff.
• Reassess patient progress regularly and coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Participate in ongoing clinical education, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or postgraduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Alaska Physical Therapy License or eligibility for Alaska licensure.
• Experience in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills.
• Knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation and evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities.
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care.
