We are seeking an outpatient pelvic health physical therapist that is engaging and friendly with a drive to pursue exceptional clinical quality. You will evaluate, treat, and guide patients through individualized rehabilitation programs, focusing on functional improvement, pain reduction, and long-term wellness in a supportive, patient-centered environment.Education and Experience
- Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT)
- Current and active or eligible for state physical therapy license
- Herman and Wallace Level 1 or equivalent CEU required.

Work Context
- Communication: Frequent interaction with patients, families, and clinic staff throughout the day to explain treatment plans, gather information, and coordinate care.
- Role Relationships: Works closely with other PTs, rehabilitation technicians, and front desk staff. Occasional communication with referring providers, but most interactions are within the clinic.
- Responsibility for Others: Responsible for the safety and care of assigned patients. Does not supervise staff unless specifically delegated.
- Conflictual Contact: Low. Occasional situations with frustrated or anxious patients, but conflict is rare.
- Work Setting: Indoor outpatient clinic environment with treatment tables, equipment, and an open gym-style area.
- Environmental Conditions: Minimal exposure to extreme conditions. Normal climate-controlled clinical setting.
- Job Hazards: Occasional physical strain from assisting patients, moving equipment, or demonstrating exercises. Low risk of injury when using proper body mechanics.
- Body Positioning: Regular periods of standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting.
- Work Attire: Business-casual and professional athleisure attire appropriate for direct patient care.
- Impact of Decisions: Daily clinical decisions directly affect patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Routine versus Challenging Work: A mix of routine treatments and more complex cases that require problem-solving and individualized planning.
- Pace and Scheduling: Steady pace with a schedule built around patient appointments. Time management is important to balance treatment, documentation, and communication.
Primary Job Duties
- Evaluate patients, identify movement or functional limitations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide one-on-one interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, education, and the use of physical agents as appropriate.
- Document evaluations, goals, progress, and treatment sessions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust the plan of care to maximize outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on home programs, condition management, and expectations for recovery.
- Collaborate with referring providers and clinic staff to coordinate care.
- Ensure informed consent and communicate expected benefits, risks, and alternatives.
- Discharge patients when goals are met and provide recommendations or referrals as needed.
