Pellet Mill Operator

About the role

This is a direct-hire opportunity to operate pellet mill and related processing equipment safely and efficiently.

Essential Functions

• Operate pellet mill and related processing equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain product quality and throughput by monitoring equipment performance and making adjustments
• Start up, shut down, and clean production equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Accurately follow production schedules and batch instructions
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and palletizing finished products
• Identify and report mechanical or operational issues promptly
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor adjustments on production equipment
• Support preventative maintenance and housekeeping activities
• Maintain clean and organized work areas around production lines and equipment
• Move raw materials and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment
• Accurately complete production documentation and inventory transactions
• Ensure materials are staged properly for production runs
• Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous Pellet Mill Experience required
• Preferred: Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, Forklift Experience

Pay

$30 - $35 per hour

Schedule

Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
