Pelican Route Driver/Warehouse Operator

Deliver beer, merchandise, and other goods to our world-class restaurants while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities

• Delivery Driver / Internal Transport and Logistics Operations
• Warehouse work, including picking and verifying beer orders for internal customers
• Pick, verify, and transport orders of raw material and packaging for operations
• Create an unmatched customer experience across all departments
• Perform tasks required to keep operations running smoothly
• Participate in additional training, licenses, and certifications as opportunities arise

Safety

• Receive training on safe lifting, equipment use, chemical handling, transportation, forklift operation, and warehousing
• Prioritize the safety of staff, vendors, and customers
• Work respectfully in a high-functioning, fast-moving environment

Physical Requirements

• Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
• Must be able to lift, handle, and carry items weighing a minimum of 50 pounds constantly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat frequently to receive and store stock, supplies, and equipment
• Work in an environment with loud noises from machinery, fumes, odors, dust, and smoke
• Drive for extended continuous periods under 4 hours
• Work in ambient temperatures that fluctuate with North Coast seasons

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) required
• Class C Valid Driver’s License
• 1 to 3 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both
• Brewery experience is helpful
• Mechanical aptitude is helpful
