Peer Support Specialist - Desert Cove

Responsibilities

• Facilitating various family group activities that support and strengthen the member and their families.
• Assisting and supporting the family in expressing their perspective throughout the processes of assessment, service planning and service delivery.
• Maintaining a focus on the recovery and resiliency of the family during these processes.
• Creating and facilitating a variety of family group activities that support and strengthen a family’s journey of recovery.
• Promoting community integration, independence, and self-sufficiency for the family.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of member engagements.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working with families in recovery settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy.

Pay

Starting at $17.00/hour, with a DOE (Depending on Experience).

Schedule

Full-Time Employed: 40 hours/week.

Location: 23rd Avenue & Peoria.
