What You Will Do

  • Provide leadership and day-to-day oversight of the Peer Support Hub, including coordination of activities, support groups, and daily operations.
  • Supervise Peer Support Specialists and Recovery Coaches by providing guidance, encouragement, individualized coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Support development and implementation of Peer Drop-in Center (HUB) policies and procedures to promote effective and consistent service delivery.
  • Manage administrative responsibilities including timesheet approval, event planning, supply ordering, and other operational needs.
  • Oversee documentation practices to ensure accuracy and completeness, including final review and sign-off where required.
  • Foster a recovery-oriented, peer-driven environment aligned with BHN values and behavioral health best practices.
  • Support supervisees in professional development goals, including Certified Peer Specialist and Recovery Coach certification and recertification requirements, where applicable.
  • Attend multidisciplinary team meetings, staff meetings, and BHN-mandated supervisory meetings as required.
  • Promote person-centered, trauma-informed recovery support and advocate for individuals' preferred pathways to recovery.
  • Collaborate with program leadership and peer staff to promote teamwork, accountability, and a supportive work environment.
  • Complete MAP certification within the first six months of employment.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two or more years of commensurate training, experience, and demonstrated expertise in the field required.
  • Lived experience with mental health systems, personally or through a family member, required.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory and/or management experience required.
  • Experience and/or training working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Knowledge of community resources and the ability to connect and refer individuals to appropriate services.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organization, conflict-resolution, and time-management skills.
  • Comfort using internet, email, Microsoft Word, Excel, document-sharing systems, Microsoft 365, Teams, and electronic health records.
  • Demonstrated cultural humility and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to recovery advocacy, person-centered care, trauma-informed practice, and multiple pathways to recovery.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, respond effectively to urgent needs, receive and apply constructive feedback, and work collaboratively with peers and program staff.

Pay

$24.00-$28.00
