Responsibilities
- Counsels clients on available resources.
- Provides emotional and practical support to promote recovery and stability.
- Supports the development and implementation of a person-centered recovery plan.
- Affords assistance with entitlements and concrete services.
- Attends and participates in supervision, staff meetings, and in-service trainings.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.
- Minimum Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) or CRPA-Provisional for designated programs OR New York Certified Peer Specialist (NYCPS) or NYCPS-Provisional (NYCPS-P) OR Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) or OASAS-approved 30-Hour Recovery Coach Training for designated programs.
- At least two (2) years of work experience or volunteer experience in a recovery-oriented setting.
- Knowledge of substance use disorder recovery process.
- Computer literacy including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Pay
$21.97 per hour
