About the role
The Peer Specialist ACT will provide support and resources to individuals with mental health conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide peer support to individuals with mental health conditions
- Facilitate group sessions and activities
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience working with individuals with mental health conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Qualifications
- Experience in community-based settings
- Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment options
- Passion for supporting individuals in recovery
Skills
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Strong organizational and time management skills
