About the Role
Support individuals with substance use recovery by leveraging personal lived experience and professional training.
Responsibilities
- Provide face-to-face peer support
- Engage clients to consider or maintain treatment
- Connect clients to community resources
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- CRPA certification
- At least 180 days in recovery or extensive addiction knowledge
Skills
- Ability to build supportive relationships
- Network with facilities
- Travel to various clinics and outreach sites
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Willingness to travel to off-site locations
- Complete 50 hours of training in advocacy, mentoring, recovery wellness, and ethical responsibilities
Pay
$22–$26 per hour
