PEDS Registered Nurse FRI, SAT, SUN 12hr shift

Job Summary

This role is ideal for a nurse with pediatric experience who is passionate about providing high-level, individualized care in a home setting. You will play a vital role in managing the child’s ongoing clinical needs, supporting the family, and ensuring the child’s safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with a pediatric patient’s care plan
• Conduct regular health assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate and support family members on care techniques and pediatric health
• Document all nursing care provided in accordance with agency standards and state regulations
• Communicate effectively with physicians, care team members, and agency supervisors
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the pediatric patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Pediatric experience required (home health or acute pediatric setting preferred)
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans
