About the role
We are seeking a Peds Nursing Instructor to join our team for a school in a box program, providing education through Sim/Skills Labs and clinical sites.
Responsibilities
- Teaching and supervising students in skills labs and clinical settings in accordance with curriculum and faculty expertise
- Planning and overseeing student clinical experiences in healthcare facilities
- Evaluating student performance and providing timely feedback
- Maintaining accurate student records and assisting with program outcome data
- Adapting instructional methods, utilizing online tools, and improving teaching quality
- Participating in faculty meetings, committee activities, and maintaining ongoing communication with students
- Completing required reports and staying current with technology and safety regulations
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid, unencumbered RN license in California
- Eligibility for CA BRN approval as an instructor in Pediatrics or related areas
- Master’s degree or BSN with enrollment in an MSN program
- Minimum four years of RN experience, including at least one recent year in direct patient care
- Experience teaching nursing or related coursework preferred
- Expertise in Pediatric or other specified nursing fields
Pay
Compensation: $55-$70 per hour, DOE.
