Pedo-Ortho Referral Specialist

Primary Responsibilities

• Qualifying and scheduling patients for complimentary orthodontic evaluations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinating both pediatric and orthodontic patients.

  • Obtain reports and analyze patient data.
  • Promote CHOICE Healthcare Services by directly engaging with patients and referral partners in the communities in which we serve.

• Develop knowledge and understanding of underserved community health and dental health issues in target populations.

  • Seek and engage families and individuals to educate and inform them on the importance of orthodontic dental care.

• Respond to requests for information about our company, services, and basic dental information to engage, educate and empower patients to schedule appointments at our clinics.

• Schedule pediatric patients for orthodontic exams.

  • Engage with parents via phone and in person to educate on the importance of orthodontia care.
  • Schedule orthodontic consultations.
  • Follow up with patients who are not ready to schedule or have postponed scheduling their orthodontic exam.
  • Directly engage potential new orthodontic patients and gather information for follow-up.

• Maintain monthly appointment goals as set by the Ortho Manager to support operational growth targets.

• Collaborate with both the pediatric and orthodontic teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and schedules.

• Attend both pediatric and orthodontic huddles.

• Understand and comply with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements applicable to the industry.

• Collaborate with clinic teams for existing and new patient conversion efforts.

• Ensure high customer satisfaction by providing quality service to customers while upholding and demonstrating company values.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience and success in customer service.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required.
