About the role

NYP/Lawrence Hospital is seeking a Neonatal Medicine specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neonatal care and be committed to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to neonates from birth through the transition to pediatric care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for neonatal patients.
• Conduct regular assessments and monitor the health status of neonatal patients.
• Participate in research activities related to neonatal medicine.
• Train and mentor junior staff members in neonatal care practices.

Requirements

• Current New York State Medical License.
• Board certification in Pediatrics or Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Experience in neonatal intensive care and/or pediatric critical care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Pediatrics or Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Passing scores on the USMLE or COMLEX exams.
