Pediatrics Expert - Remote

About the role

We are seeking experienced Hospitalist Physicians to review inpatient medical records and clinical documentation for an AI training project. You’ll help ensure clinical accuracy, documentation quality, and consistency. Role type: Contractor. Location: Remote.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records, FHIR data, and clinical notes.
• Verify that clinical claims are supported by the medical record.
• Evaluate inpatient documentation, including HPI, PMH, assessments, and care plans.
• Identify missing, inaccurate, or inconsistent information.
• Apply review guidelines consistently and provide feedback to improve AI models and data quality.
• Communicate findings clearly with the project team.

Qualifications

Required:

• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
• Current or recent inpatient/hospitalist experience within the past two years.
• Strong knowledge of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows.
• Experience reviewing clinical notes and medical record data.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to follow guidelines.

Preferred:

• Experience in chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, medical coding/QA, or multiple inpatient specialties.
