About the role

Peace Arch Hospital (PAH) is seeking one full-time consulting Pediatrician, with or without a sub‑specialty interest, to join a congenial group of pediatricians who provide home‑based on‑call pediatric consultant services to the Maternity Unit, which handles over 1,000 low‑risk deliveries annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide home‑based on‑call pediatric consultant services to the Maternity Unit.
• Attend all C‑section deliveries.
• Attend deliveries anticipated to require neonatal resuscitation.
• Consult on post‑natal concerns as needed.
• Establish a consulting practice in the area.
• Participate in sub‑specialty clinics within Fraser Health (opportunity).
• Collaborate with Langley Memorial Hospital and Surrey Memorial Hospital to facilitate transfers of newborns requiring neonatal inpatient care to an appropriate nursery.

Requirements

• Licensed Pediatrician.
• CPSBC US certified class of registration acceptable.
• Willingness to establish a consulting practice in the area.
• Eligibility for Fraser Health sponsorship (if applicable).
• Ability to work in a team‑oriented, inclusive, equitable and culturally safe environment.

Compensation type: Combination.
