Washington Pediatrics has been independently owned and physician-led since 1955, providing continuity of care in a rural, HPSA-designated, medically underserved community. The practice is built on long-term relationships, with provider tenure ranging from 7 to 35 years.
About the role
As a Staff Pediatrician, you’ll provide comprehensive care from birth through adolescence, building generational relationships with families. The practice offers a partnership track after Year 1, with no hospital rounding or RVU-based productivity pressures. You’ll collaborate with an embedded behavioral health team and serve as a pediatric advocate in an underserved region.

Requirements
- MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Eligible for NC medical licensure
- New graduates welcome; experienced physicians also encouraged to apply
- Comfortable in a high-autonomy, independent practice environment
- Genuine interest in community-centered, relationship-driven pediatric care
Pay
Year 1: $200,000
Year 2: $210,000
Partner track discussion after Year 1
Schedule
Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–5 PM
Saturdays: 8:30 AM–12 PM
Call: ~1 weeknight per week, weekend call ~1 in 6 weeks (shared equally)
