About the Role
Full-time clinic position with hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Examine patients and take their histories
- Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures
- Act as a consultant to other medical practitioners
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
- Refer patients for surgery
- Diagnose and treat diseases
- Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ health
- Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
Requirements
- Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Manitoba
- Must be a member in good standing with the Canadian Medical Protective Association
- Complete and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, and Adult Abuse Registry as appropriate
Pay
Compensation is fee-for-service as per the Doctors Manitoba and Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living negotiated rates.
