Pediatrician
Peak Vista Community Health Centers is a nonprofit health care organization whose mission is to provide exceptional health care to people facing access barriers through clinical programs and education. We provide integrated health care services including medical, dental, and behavioral health through our 20 outpatient health centers. Our organization has over 800 employees and serves more than 74,300 patients annually in the Pikes Peak and East Central regions of Colorado, covering 14 counties from the front range to the Kansas border, with locations throughout Colorado Springs, Fountain, Divide, Limon, and Strasburg.
About the Role
The ideal candidate is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the community and committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. This role requires a collaborative approach to healthcare, working closely with an integrated care team that includes behavioral health and dental services. The pediatrician provides comprehensive outpatient primary care and telehealth services for pediatric patients, maintains hospital privileges, participates in call coverage, and completes clinical documentation. The physician is expected to meet productivity and quality standards while following organizational policies. Additional responsibilities include supervising clinical staff and supporting team-based patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care and telehealth services for pediatric patients.
- Maintain hospital privileges and participate in call coverage.
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely.
- Meet productivity and quality standards while adhering to organizational policies.
- Supervise clinical staff and support team-based patient care.
- Manage an average patient volume of approximately 22 patients per day.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Active, unrestricted Colorado medical license.
- Active DEA registration.
- Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatrics.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certified.

Pay
$223,446.08 to $274,810.49 yearly, based on experience, plus a $20,000 sign-on bonus.
